LURAY, Va. — Earlier this month, the town of Luray announced that a portion of the Greenway would close for sewer line maintenance.
The popular trail will be closed from the Park and Ride North, along sections of the North Loop Trail.
Due to weather conditions and other factors, the project has been delayed twice.
Today, however, the town officially announced work will begin Monday, January 27, 2025. An estimated date of completion was not specified, but the original announcement indicated a work duration of two days.
Town officials are reminding residents to maintain a safe distance from construction crews and equipment.
