PAGE COUNTY, Va. — This month, the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department honored three longtime members.
Lester Hensley, Nathan Comer and Charles Rothgeb were all recognized for 33+ years of dedicated service to the community.
The department is also hosting a BBQ Chicken Dinner Fundraiser on March 1, 2025.
Dinner includes BBQ chicken halves, bread, coleslaw, baked beans and a bag of chips, and will be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To make a general donation to the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department for operating expenses, cash or checks may be dropped off at the fire house or mailed to 201 Pennsylvania Avenue, Shenandoah, Va. 22849.
