STANLEY, Va. — The town of Stanley has announced the launch of a new text alert system to help keep residents informed. *Free.
To sign up, simply text “STANLEY” to “91896.”
You’ll receive a confirmation message asking you to type “YES” to verify.
Subscribers may receive multiple text messages a month. Notifications may include upcoming events, trash pickup delays, road closures, storm warnings, and power outages.
To remove yourself from the notification group at any time, simply text the word “STOP.”
