SHENANDOAH, Va. — Police Chief Paul Davis recently retired after more than two decades of service to the town.
Davis first served as a police officer with the Shenandoah Police Department from September 1998 through February 1999.
He returned on December 3, 2002, and continued his career in law enforcement with the town.
On April 1, 2012, Davis was promoted to chief of police — a role he held for more than a decade.
On February 28, 2026, town officials thanked Davis for his more than 20 years of dedicated service to the community and wished him well in his retirement.
The new Shenandoah police chief is Rodney Hensley.
