LURAY, Va. — Page County has announced that it will hold a “hazardous waste collection day” September 27, 2025 from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Acceptable Items
• Paint, polishes & varnishes
• Gasoline
• Paint related materials
• Batteries
• Turpentine
• Mercury
• Aerosol cans
• Pesticides
• Adhesives
• Transmission fluid
• Motor oil
• Pool chemicals
• Antifreeze
• Fluorescent Light Bulbs
• Fuel additives
• Automotive Batteries
• Household Cleaners
• Small Batteries
• Herbicides/Insecticides
Items that will NOT be accepted:
• Commercial / Industrial waste • 55 gallon drums of material
• Radioactive material
• Explosives
• Bullets
