NOTE OF APPRECIATION FROM THE STANLEY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT:
We are proud to announce a major milestone in the history of the SVFD.
We officially received approval from FEMA for our $800,000 grant to move forward with the purchase of a brand-new fire engine.
We’ve signed the contract for a 2028 PIERCE Enforcer, with a total cost of $1.1 million. This marks a significant step forward in enhancing our department’s capabilities and ensuring the safety of our community for years to come.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support, commitment, and dedication of our volunteers and—most importantly—our incredible community.
