TIMBERVILLE, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a Delaware man on Saturday.
According to a media release from VSP Sergeant Brent W. Coffey, the incident occurred March 29, 2025.
At 5:15 p.m., a 2007 Victory motorcycle was traveling north on Orchard Drive, when it failed to maneuver a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway, and collided with a mailbox, pole, and an embankment.
The motorcycle rider, Kenneth L. Willey Sr., 50, of Seaford, Delaware, died at the scene. Social media tributes indicate that Mr. Willey had relocated to Bayse, Va.
The crash remains under investigation. Alcohol and speed are considered factors.
